I found Victoria Moran's book Main Street Vegan: Everything You Need to Know to Eat Healthfully and Live Compassionately in the Real World when I was very new to eating plants. I didn't know anyone that lived vegan, in real life or online, and I felt unsure and honestly a bit alone. When I read her words and heard her voice on the Main Street Vegan® podcast, I no longer felt alone and the guidance and information that she shares is simple, profound and empowering. 

 

When I heard her first mention the Main Street Vegan® Academy on her podcast my heart fluttered in my chest. I was still a "baby vegan" at the time, but I knew that I was supposed to go to NYC to meet Victoria and attend the academy. I felt very strongly that I was to help people just like me, who had no idea where to start and who lived in a very non-vegan environment. 

 

In April of 2015 I made the trip and attended the Academy with 14 other beautiful vegans. The course was one of my favorite experiences to date and I am so excited and proud to be a Main Street Vegan Academy® Alumni and Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator. 

 

What is a Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator?

Converting from a carnivorous diet to a plant-based diet can sometimes be overwhelming, or sometimes very easy. It's important in both cases to learn how to gain the best possible nutrition, to find foods that satisfy you during the transition and to be assured that you are not missing anything important by only eating plants. You will be giving up all the harmful foods that cause disease, and adopting a new diet that will enhance your health and your life.

We can determine together what will best suit your needs.  I would like you to commit to a series of sessions, as it's impossible to learn everything about a plant-based diet and going vegan in a very short time, and I want to make sure you have all the support and information that you'll need.

 

If finances are an issue, let me know and we can work something out. I'd rather see you get started than to not begin due to cost...and the less animals you eat starting right away, the better for the animals, the planet, and your health!
